JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Maria Regina School began with Preschool and Primary School, envisioning basic education with a strong Catholic foundation. As public acceptance grew, the Melania Regina Foundation decided to continue with Junior and Senior High School in 2011 and 2016 respectively. Maria Regina Junior High School has been the pioneer of a modern Catholic school in Semarang because it is fully equipped with both National and International curricula to provide dual certifications to its students. The school has been a registered school of Cambridge Assessment International Education since 2017 and continued to nurture outstanding results in Cambridge Assessments. Maria Regina Junior High School also achieved the highest 2019 UNBK result among all Junior High Schools, both public and private schools, in Semarang. In the same year, Maria Regina Junior High School also got the 5th position among all Junior High School in Central Java for achieving excellent results in 2019 UNBK.

Maria Regina Junior High School has been implementing a unique combination of national and international-based curriculum since 2012. Initially as a national plus school, it has gained its SPK (Satuan Pendidikan Kerjasama) status since 2015.

 

Maria Regina Junior High School has successfully produced its graduates with outstanding National Exam results as well as Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint. Maria Regina Junior High School is also a registered Cambridge Assessment International School (ID316).

 

Chinese as a Second Language is also included in the curriculum. Proficiency in foreign languages is our curriculum strength in order to prepare our Reginians to be globally competent in the future.
