Kindergarten Sports Week 2022
Engaging young learners in different sports activities help them grow in different aspects. With that idea, the school held a sports week event from 21-25 March 2022. The sports week aimed to develop gross motor skills while introducing them to different kinds of sports and learning how to support each other to reach a common goal.
Kindergarteners were at their own best in sports outfits for a week. To officially begin the Sports Week, the Pre-K and Toddler 2 students led the opening ceremony with the lighting of the torch and Zumba dance to promote health and fitness. Then, students continued the activities in their respective classes by having relay games such as ball blowing with a fan, flag transferring, and obstacle course.
During the week, the students were involved more in physical activities and games such as: playing balloon tennis, basketball, and bottle lifting. On the last day of the sports week, Kindergarten 1 and 2 students enthusiastically played games and danced in the hall. Afterward, they continued to have fun in their classrooms. Kindergarten 1 had fun games like moving the bottle using the rope and musical chair, while K2 continued to play games such as color relay and passing the ball using a stick. It was a fantastic week for everyone as they get to enjoy and build community with their classmates.
