Maria Regina School offers its heartfelt sympathies as Reginians mourn the passing of Pope Francis. The Reginian family bowed not only in sorrow, but also in gratitude. We lift up our thoughts and prayers, entrusting his soul to God’s eternal mercy.
Pope Francis, you were the voice of mercy in a noisy world, the hand of compassion in divided times, and the gentle soul who taught us how to walk humbly in faith. You reminded us that holiness lies in the ordinary—kindness, forgiveness, and love. Though we never stood in your presence, your spirit reached our hearts. Now that you rest in eternal peace, we feel the loss like a soft, silent ache. But we will carry your light, Pope Francis. We will live the lessons you lived. With tears and love, we say goodbye—from every Reginian heart, thank you.Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,and let perpetual light shine upon him.May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed,through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
